This young chap, Frankie really performed well. All I could think of though whilst watching him was that he looks like this guy!!




Leah Sanderson held an acoustic night at The Golden Fleece in Nottingham, on Masfield Road. 3 acts played, with the return of Paul Redmont. He played around 6 songs and was welcomed back onto the scene with cheers and shouts for "The Painter". Alot of familiar faces were around. It was a very mellow night and i 100% recommend you attend the next night Leah holds. My highlight was "Beautiful Mess", a new song from Paul. Beautiful it was, a mess it wasn't. I did a few recordings - again apoligies for the BAD BAD audio quality!!

Kappa Gamma - Happy Birthday Kristi.

2 Premier Road in Forest Fields held hommage to Kristi and her 22nd birthday last Wednesday with Kappa Gamma holding a very special front room event. When i say front room I mean the room that normally has a sofa, a couple of chairs a fireplace and comfortably fits 5-6 people. Try the band with all their gear, PA system, full drum kit and amps. The lot. Along with around 25 people packed into this room. It was tense, fun and intimate. All the people in the room either knew each other or knew friends of each other. Although there were no strangers, they would have been welcome with open arms. This was an open house party. Kappa Gamma started the set with Green Eyes and ended on Wentworth Villa. Inbetween tambourines, maracas and other jinggley percussion instruments were thrown out for friends to play along with. There was even a crowd surfer. The night ended up with a crowd going to Rescue Rooms for another gig, the vice issue launch party and ending up in Bodega until the early hours.

Late night skate with bad luck coming in threes - as per. Nearly had head on colision with a pooch pamper van. Board nearly in two from an undercover cop car. Then attempted chokeslam at Ampy3. Good night though.
